ARKHI TV

Privacy policy

Legal details are being reviewed. Formal operator identification and contact information must be completed before definitive public launch.

1. Controller and contact

ArkhiTV’s operator controls the processing. Formal controller identification and a rights request contact must be finalised before definitive public launch.

2. Account data

Email address, authentication records, access approvals, sessions and paired devices may be processed. Email verification is retained against the account to avoid repeated validation.

3. Playlists and external streams

Up to five playlist URLs and their names may be stored per account. URLs may include private access tokens. Playback contacts the external servers chosen by users, who may process connection metadata.

4. Recording and evidence

Videos are recorded to users’ devices rather than to an ArkhiTV video archive. The server keeps recording declarations, associated technical events, PDF records and any voluntarily supplied evidence documents. Confirmation documents are emailed.

5. Playlist safety monitoring

Names and categories are screened without downloading or viewing suspected video content. Security logs record playlist save, edit, delete and block events, but not a channel-by-channel viewing history. These security events are retained for up to 30 days.

6. Purposes and recipients

Data supports the requested player, account authentication, security and recording declarations. Appropriate legal bases include service provision and proportionate legitimate interests. Email delivery involves a technical provider. Personal data is not sold to advertisers.

7. Retention and rights

Playlists remain until removal or account deletion. Final retention periods for declaration archives are pending legal review. Data subjects may exercise GDPR rights and contact the Portuguese CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

8. Cookies and language

Essential cookies support sessions and security. Language preference is stored to maintain the selected interface. No advertising cookies are required to use the player.
